Better Price

Sustainable underwear shouldn't be a luxury. We set out to make silky, eco-conscious undies that don't cost $18–22 per pair — without cutting corners on quality or durability.

Why Sustainable Underwear Usually Costs More

Premium sustainable brands charge more for real reasons: certified recycled fabrics cost more than virgin materials, ethical manufacturing in facilities with fair labor standards adds expense, and smaller production runs mean less leverage on pricing.

These aren't bad reasons — they reflect genuine costs. But they don't have to translate into $20+ per pair for you.

How We Keep Prices Fair

We made deliberate choices to keep our pricing accessible:

- Lower margins. We're not trying to maximize profit per pair — we'd rather more people have access to comfortable, sustainable basics.

- Direct-to-consumer. No retail markup, no wholesale margin. What we make goes straight to you.

- Focused product line. We're not trying to be everything to everyone. Fewer styles means simpler operations and better pricing.

Quality That Lasts

Fair pricing means nothing if the undies fall apart after a few washes. We've all been there — elastic that stretches out, fabric that pills, seams that unravel. Cheap underwear is only cheap until you have to replace it.

Our recycled nylon has natural elastic recovery — it stretches when you move and bounces back to its original shape. The fabric and adhesive hold up wash after wash without losing their qualities.

We test our materials before production, not after complaints. If the design doesn't hold up to repeated wear and washing, it doesn't make the cut.

How We Compare

The Bottom Line

You shouldn't have to choose between undies that feel good, last long, and don't cost a fortune. We built properbasics to prove you can have all three.
